What is the Chamber eNoticeboard?

Our monthly eNoticeboard contains announcements and events that are relevant to the Cairns business sector. Much of the information is posted by our members but space is also available to members of the broader business community.

As a person interested in the Cairns region you are entitled to advertise through this medium. The eNoticeboard is delivered monthly and goes straight to the desk of more than 2,200 readers right across the region.

Please note that to ensure the eNoticeboard is an effective advertising medium, the number of display-style advertisements will be limited for each issue, so make sure you get in quick!

What are the Advertising Options?

Display Advertising:

Exclusive Position Display Ad
maximum of one per issue**
Members: $200 per issue.
Non-members: $250 per issue.
No minimum number of issues.
Specifications: 650 pixels (w) by 220 pixels (h) at 72 dpi.

Vertical Boxed Display Ad
maximum of two per issue**
Members: $75 per issue.
Non-members: $100 per issue.
No minimum number of issues.
Specifications: 315 pixels (w) by 220 pixels (h) at 72 dpi.

Horizontal Strip Display Ad
maximum of two per issue**
Members: $75 per issue.
Non-members: $100 per issue.
No minimum number of issues.
Specifications: 650 pixels (w) by 130 pixels (h) at 72 dpi.

Classified Advertising:
Business Notices^**
Members: receive two free notice bookings of 100 words per calendar year. Additional messages are billed at the members rate of $22 per listing.
Non-members: $33 per listing.
No minimum number of issues.

Community Notices^**
All non-profit organisations may book unlimited community notices at no charge, but placement is at the discretion of the Cairns Chamber. There is a limit of 100 words per listing on all community notices and proof of non-profit status may be required.

No proofs will be provided - it is the responsibility of you or your graphic designer to provide artwork to the correct specifications.

Conditions of Advertising

By placing a booking you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

Tentative bookings for display advertisements will be held for a maximum period of 5 working days, after which time the space will be released - unless advised in writing to jeanette.sturiale@emailnewsletter.com.au. and approved by the Cairns Chamber of Commerce.
Advertisement bookings will only be confirmed upon receipt of full payment.
Display advertisements of the same size and location can be booked for a maximum of 3 consecutive issues. After that, a 2 month break will be required before your advertisement can be re-booked in the same spot. This is to ensure equitable access for all members.
Advertisements booked but not placed will automatically be queued for the following issue. You must advise us in writing at jeanette.sturiale@emailnewsletter.com.au.if you do not wish for this to occur.
Advertising fees will not be refunded unless cancellations are received in writing to info@cairnschamber.com.au at least 1 month prior to the closure of bookings.
Final placement of all advertisements are at the discretion of the Cairns Chamber of Commerce. It is a requirement that all display advertisements be of a graphic design quality to uphold the integrity of the eNoticeboard.
Publication dates and booking details are correct at the time of accepting your booking - Cairns Chamber reserves the right to change these without notice when necessary.
The Cairns Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to refuse to write, edit or distribute any material that is or may be considered to be defamatory or misleading in any way.
By engaging the services of the Cairns Chamber of Commerce, you agree to indemnify the Chamber against any loss or liability whatsoever or howsoever arising out of any breach of copyright or intellectual property in the material to be edited, written or distributed, or any defamatory or misleading statements or material contained therein.
