Where BCT goes, Clean Air Flows The philosophy of breathing cleaner air and creating a better, healthier natural environment has quickly become an intrinsic part of BCT. Being inspired to step up and give back to the community, I realised that the most powerful thing we could do would be to improve the environment from the impacts of our business on the natural world. I decided we were going to contribute to a cleaner environment and I wanted it to be as effective as possible - by offsetting not just some of the carbon emissions created by our vehicles, but all of it by planting trees. I started researching environmentally minded organisations and logged onto Greenfleet www.greenfleet.com.au. Greenfleet plant Australian natives that are in the ground for a minimum of 100 years, don't need to be watered and are planted in Queensland - our own back yard. BCT is now planting three times as many trees as we need to in order to offset all of the carbon emissions being generated through the vehicles - which means hundreds of trees per month, and thousands of trees per year, every year. Somerset Celebration of Literature 10-14 March 08

The Celebration of Literature held at Somerset College is now in its 15th year, is widely recognised as Australia's premier school literary festival and offers book-lovers of all ages the opportunity to meet their favourite authors.

Some 30 writers and illustrators will take part in the 2008 Celebration of Literature in a lineup that includes established authors and newcomers who will stage a series of interactive workshops that offer readers the chance to meet, discuss and learn not only about specific books, but also about the craft of writing.

There are specific reasons why a corporate communication video fails to get its message across. It has nothing to do with the size of the budget; however its problems may begin before the first call to the video production company.

Theatre Tickets

Gold Coast Little Theatre is proud to present the popular musical, Annie Get Your Gun from 29 March to 19 April, 2008.  With music and lyrics by Irving Berlin and original book by Herbert and Dorothy Fields, the 1946 Broadway premiere starred Ethel Merman as Annie.

With a host of well-known songs, the musical is based on the inspiring real life story of 19th century markswoman Annie Oakley. She was born on the American frontier and did not have much schooling but rose to become the toast of European royalty.
